Welcome to Hokage Dragons, a Flame of Recca Shrine owned by
Rika24 and hosted by
Katze. Flame of Recca, also known as Recca no Honoo,
is a manga by Nobuyuki Anzai that lasted from 1995 to 2002 and was a part of Shounen Sunday magazine.
The anime version of Flame of Recca, animated by Studio Pierrot, started in 1997 and ended in 1998, obviously
not covering the entire manga series.
VOLUME 15 CHAPTER SUMMARIES UP

Can this be counted as the "next day?" I can't get on my computer until after midnight because I don't have AC and my computer is
upstairs. So with my room always being 90+ during the day I'd rather not risk my computer crashing. So I know that this is sort of late
(it's currently after 1 AM now) but the next volume summaries are up. Enjoy!
VOL 14 CHAPTER SUMMARIES ADDED AND VOL 1-10 + DVDS OUT OF PRINT

Added chapter summaries for volume 14. We're almost through with the tournament volumes which means we'll be going
into non-anime territory very soon. Hopefully I'll have volume 15 up tomorrow and 16 (the final tournament volume) up
on Wednesday.
Also, it appears that the early volumes of Flame of Recca (1-10 I believe) are now out of print. So if
you plan on checking this series out, I recommend picking it up soon while you can order it online (Flame of Recca is no longer
sold in stores... but this isn't really new, the last 3 volumes I had to order online because the stores didn't carry them anymore).
The fact that onemanga.com has gone down (the place I normally send people to when they want to read a little of it before deciding on if they
want to pick it up or not) will make it a little harder for newcomers to check the series out. I recommend the library (which is where I originally
checked it out before I started buying them) but there'll most likely be a big waiting list. I know this from experience.
The DVDs are also now out of print.

Just letting you know that I haven't forgotten this site. I've finally gotten the complete manga series
(all 33 volumes) so updates will be coming soon.

VOLUMES 12 AND 13 CHAPTER SUMMARIES

Yikes! I haven't updated in forever. Sorry about that but I've been very busy. Well, on with the updates,
as the title says, I've added the chapter summaries for volumes 12 and 13 of the manga. Just a minor note
that some terms and names are spelled differently than you may have seen. The reason is because the spelling
is different in the american version. Like, for example, Fuuko is spelled Fuko.

NEW LAYOUT

Hokage Dragons now has a new layout. This actually is the third layout. The first had only been up a few days
before the second one took its place. I'm actually happy with this layout, surprisingly enough. Thankfully no
more "layout block."
