ABOUT THE HACHIRYU
The Hachiryu, also called the Flame of Yamata, are the eight dragons that live inside Recca. At first the
dragons gave Recca many problems, but as time when on Recca slowly earns
their friendship.
The truth about the Hachiryu is that each one was a former Enjutsushi that fell victim to the curse of
the Hokage Clan, one being Recca's own father. The eight dragons put their fate in Recca's hands. If Recca
succeeds in his goal to protect Yanagi, the souls of the eight Enjutsushi will finally be able to rest in peace.
But if he fails, he will also become a victim of the curse and become the ninth karyu.
